SCHOLARSHIP COMMITTEE

Our Scholarship Committee is the heart of our organization. This committee administers the scholarship and awards programs that are the primary focus of our organization’s existence. The Co-Chairs coordinate visits to various high schools in the Greater Philadelphia area that enable our staff, Inspiration alumni, and volunteers to speak with high school students about the importance of higher education and the opportunities for academic and social enrichment through the continuing study and performance of music.

MUSIC DIVISION

Our Music Division is the central committee through which our 20th Anniversary projects are launched. Sales of The Inspiration CDs, our alumni CDs, and other special music projects are channeled through the Music Division. The Music committee will administer the recording of the 20th Anniversary CD in 2008 in three regions (Northeast, Mid-Atlantic, Northwest) nationwide. DEVELOPMENT DIVISION

All of the fundraising initiatives of the Inspiration Alumni Foundation are channeled through the Development Division. In our organization, we define fundraising as the formulation and steady maintenance of relationships through which the organization receives the support it needs to administer its programs. While the monetary component to program administration cannot be denied, the relationships that we build are vital for the recruitment and retention of sponsors, volunteers, and community support to raise the human capital that is necessary for a successful organization.

MEDIA DIVISION

Through the media division, the Public Relations Advisor and the Public Relations committee create and present mediums through which the vision of the Inspiration Alumni Foundation is projected to the world. Our website is the main portal for our nationwide organization. The Media Division works in conjunction with the other committees and divisions to strategize the press releases, awareness programs, and presentation media for The Inspiration Alumni Foundation, Inc.

VOLUNTEER PROGRAMS DIVSION

As an organization run entirely by volunteers, there is a strong appreciation for the time and dedication that persons give to our organization that can never be overemphasized. This division is the front office for the recruitment, training, retention, and recognition of all of our volunteers. Individuals and corporations are invited to review our volunteers page to learn how you may be of assistance to any of our committees. We encourage you to share your personal and professional strengths and skill sets with ours to build an organization that is unparalleled to affect the advancement of the synergy between higher education and the arts.
