Since its founding, The Inspiration has built a strong relationship with the University of Pennsylvania and Greater Philadelphia communities, and has always reached out to them with word and song. The Inspiration traditionally performs at nursing homes, soup kitchens and local high schools. Additionally, over the years, the group has participated in a campus-wide performing arts fundraiser for children’s charities, and at a Community Day program at a local Philadelphia park. Further, the group has visited the juvenile correctional facility in New Jersey to perform and speak to the youth there. |
